TWO 1950s Boscul Peanut Butter
Glasses For One Price: MAGNOLIA & DAFFODIL If you collect vintage floral peanut butter glasses by Boscul Peanut Butter, then you will definitely want to add these glasses to your collection! I found these glasses pictured in a book called "Peanut Butter Glasses Revised and Expanded 2nd Edition With Updated Price Guide" by Barbara E. Mauzy on page 50 and page 65. I strongly believe that these are genuine Boscul peanut butter glasses because they have the "standard-name at bottom" height of 5", narrow diameter 2 11/16", and hold 10 ounces. These measurements are listed on page 9 of the book mentioned previously. They have no chips and no nicks on the edges. They also have nice paint with the exception of a few minor clear dots that you probably can't see in the pictures. If you hold them up in the air and place them in front of a light, you may see minor scratches from cleaning and a tiny bit of film or cloudiness, but remember... that's only when you hold them up in the air. I had ceiling lights shining down on them and they looked beautiful! These two may be hard to find, so go ahead and add more flowers to your collection. You can never have too many flowers! 5" BOSCUL Peanut Butter Glass
DAISY Flower NAME AT TOP! If you collect 1950s floral peanut butter glasses by Boscul Peanut Butter, then you will definitely want to add this Daisy glass to your collection!! I found this glass pictured in a book called "Peanut Butter Glasses Revised and Expanded 2nd Edition With Updated Price Guide" by Barbara E. Mauzy on page 22. I strongly believe that this is a genuine Boscul peanut butter glass because it looks exactly like the glass pictured in the book. This Daisy glass measures 5" high, 2 13/16" in diameter, and holds 12 liquid ounces - it holds one more ounce of liquid and is 1/16" wider than the standard-name at the top glasses. It has no chips or nicks and beautiful paint! If you hold it up in the air and place it in front of a light, you may see a few light scratches, but remember... that's only when you hold it up in the air. I had ceiling lights shining down on it and it looked beautiful! If you don't have this glass, go ahead and add it to your collection. You can never have too many flowers! Price: $10, plus $5 shipping and handling. |
